Strategy #1: Establish a Cleaning Schedule

When was the last time someone cleaned the office kitchen sink? Dusted the printer? Wiped the windows? If you don’t know the answer, you can benefit from establishing a cleaning schedule to keep your office clean.

A cleaning schedule should outline the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks that need to be completed. Add dates to the tasks and assignees for more systematic cleaning and accountability. Make it a checklist and check off the tasks as they are done on schedule.

You can reduce waste and promote sustainability by implementing a recycling program in the office. Add clearly labelled recycling bins anywhere employees may use trash cans.
